A Sydney-based independent agency, Agnes Media has been appointed by hospitality industry payment platform payo to manage digital marketing and performance media.
Payo is an Australian payment platform designed for the hospitality industry that offers its customers the option to eat now, pay later in restaurants, cafes and bars.
Customers with the payo app can eat and drink at payo’s partner restaurants, cafes and bars and pay the bill in four interest-free bimonthly installments by scanning a QR code. Payo also offers users access to exclusive, limited-time offers at participating sites.
The app aims to help support Australia’s struggling hospitality industry while providing more options and financial flexibility for customers paying with payo.
Along with benefits for customers, site owners have also seen strong results since integrating payment, with an increase of around 50% in the average order value of app users, as well as an increase customer return rate.
The company also recently launched the “pay checkout” platform, which allows customers to pay their bill in seconds without the need for the payo application. By scanning a unique QR code at the table, wait times for billing are eliminated while allowing customers to easily split the bill.
