Rock bands Everclear and Fastball added to American Music Theater schedule | Life & Culture

The American Music Theater announced an addition to its 2019 schedule on Thursday morning.

Everclear and Fastball, two rock bands formed in the 90s, will perform at the American Music Theater on Friday, June 21 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $49 and go on sale to the public Saturday, March 9 at 9 a.m.

Everclear was founded by Art Alexakis in 1991 in Portland, Oregon. Since then, the group has released 11 studio albums and received a Grammy nomination. In 2018, the band celebrated the 20th anniversary of their album “So Much for the Afterglow”, which included songs like “I Will Buy You a New Life” and “Everything to Everyone”.

Fastball’s debut album “Make Your Mama Proud” was released in 1996, but the band reached a wider audience with the 1998 album “All the Pain Money Can Buy”. The Austin, Texas trio’s best-known songs include “The Way” and “Out of My Head.” Fastball performed during the production of the AMT Rock at the Park Concerts at Clipper Magazine Stadium in 2018.
