The alt-rock/punk-rock festival returns to Washington Co.

WASHINGTON, PA – The eighth annual Four Chord Music Festival spans two days this summer, featuring All Time Low, Jimmy Eat World, Bad Religion and other punk and alt-rock bands at Wild Things Park in County Washington.

The September 9-10 festival features other national artists like Descendents, Pennywise, The Story So Far, The Maine, Silverstein, The Starting Line, The Amity Affliction and more.

A two-day general admission pass will cost $155, with individual day passes for $86. Two-day VIP passes for $350 ($186 for one day) include access to the VIP-only tent, elevated viewing platform, special acoustic performances by festival bands, and a private bar . General admission doors for both days open at 12:30 p.m. and VIP doors at 11:30 a.m.

Four Chord started in 2014 as a local punk rock festival in a 1,500-seat club, and has grown into a stadium-sized, alternate-day destination that has kept its DIY indie roots intact. .

“This is it. This is the festival I’ve dreamed of being able to host since it started in my apartment seven years ago in Pittsburgh,” said festival founder Rishi Bahl. “I can not wait.”

The range also includes Mom Jeans, Games We Play, Eternal Boy, Angel Dust, Patent Pending, Lagwagon, H20, I Am The Avalanche, Destroy Boys, The Bombpops, Surfbort, Keep Flying, Summer Years, Don’t Panic, Cherie Amour and Attention Loretta.
